To Ms Lydia Bradshaw, Manager of Music Under New York (MTA Arts for Transit):

Dear Ms. Bradshaw,

June 1, 2011- Today I received my rejection letter from your organization, Music Under New York. To no surprise, for the second year in a row, you did not consider my performance to be good enough. It came as no surprise because I have reason to believe that musicians were pre-selected before auditions started. The press was alerted as to who would and would not make the cut. During the MUNY auditions, your jury, composed of amateur musicians watched unenthusiastically. They already knew who was being chosen. I personally saw you with a list of the performers you had pre-selected.

Lydia Bradshaw MUNY

MUNY Manager, Lydia Bradshaw.

I am more than qualified to be part of MUNY. I have played professionally as a soloist and concertmaster in international orchestras. I have played for subway and street crowds for over 35 years. In NYC, I draw crowds, I get YouTube’d, I get Twitter’d, and Facebook’d. People love my music. They tell me so.

Below is evidence, provided by the people of New York City, of why I deserve to be accepted into MUNY. Ms. Lydia Bradshaw, you have made a mistake by not accepting me into MUNY.
